Craziest night I had so far in Japan! Very nice and intimate bar with a fun atmosphere. No place for serious stuff here! Just drinks, good foods and laughter. Arigatou gozaimasu!

Amazingly friendly little bar. There's no way you'll leave this place without talking to other people, encouraged by the owner and waitress. Reasonably priced drinks and food - the smoked chicken wings were incredible.

The coolest bar in Hiroshima. They play rock music and have greats vibes. The owner is chill and clearly loves chatting it up with the patrons. Koba is everything you could ask for in a casual bar.

Bom is legitimately the best human in existence, for 4 years I've been coming back to this bar! I couldn't recommend it highly enough for any tourist keen for a great time!

Awesome place. Sat down at the bar and had a few too many beers and a few too many sake. I felt like I was family. Will definitly stop in the next time I am in town!

Comfort food with good atmosphere. Not the go-to place if you are looking for good-quality and authentic local cuisine. Also, take into account that they allow for smoking inside; can be a positive, but not for us, especially considering that the place is quite small.

A must visit if you are in Hiroshima. Bom-san and Miwa-san were great hosts. Lots of great food, drinks and fun conversation.

The best place in Hiroshima! Kind of a rock and roll bar meets izakaya. Food is freshly prepared and is delicious. But the best part is definitely Bom the owner, which is one of the coolest people on the planet. Make sure you sit on the bar.

One of the best experiences we had in Japan. Bom is amazing, the crowd was great, and the food was good. The smoked wings are a solid pick, and ask Bom for his recommended Shochu.

This was one of the biggest surprises we had in Japan. When we entered we didn’t know what to expect as the place looked strange at first. However the food as delicious, the staff was super but super nice and funny, and the music amazing. It’s mainly old style rock and metal, so it might not be your thing.However, we ended. Up going there a second time as we loved the place and we wanted to try some sake which was again a amazing.If you’re in Hiroshima don’t miss this place.

Went 3 times in a 5 day trip. Bar has lots of character - and lots of characters are swinging by. Nacks were great, prices are reasonable.Owner Bom and staff Miwa are cool cats.

If you're looking for a dive bar in Hiroshima, this is it. If you're looking for an English-friendly dive bar in Hiroshima, this is definitely it. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming and have excellent taste in music. Drinks are cheap and basic and exactly what you want tonight.

Fun place and great host Bom-san

BOM was super friendly and welcoming. Made you feel as if you have been buddies for a long time. Great atmosphere and music selection (rock of course). Met people from all over the world and had an absolute blast striking up a conversation. Great service, great drinks, and a great time!

This place rules if you like heavy metal or hard rock. Owner is very friendly and speaks English very well (but is happy to speak to you In Japanese of course) He even allowed us to stay an hour after the bar was closed. Would definitely come again

Ummmm, foreigners like it because they like to hang with foreigners. It’s awesome if you’re Australian and want to hang with your mates.

Nice place to drink a few, and eat some good snacks. Weirdest one we got was wasabi octopus. Not to hot, nice kick, very snotty mouth feeling. Cheese plate and sausage plate exceeded the expectations. While eating and drinking you are accompanied by video clips by 60's-80's hard rock and heavy metal bands. The interior matches all this very well. Note the mint r2d2 model in package and the dilapidated dart veder mask in the games corner.

One of the most amazing and friendly bars i have ever been to. Bom the owner is a wonderful chef and a great entertainer. We spent all the night until morning laughing and enjoying the musicPrices are very good. And music is awesome. He wrote my name in Japanese rocker font incase i want to make it a Tattoo. Will definitely return in my next visit.

Koba has to be the best hole-in-the-wall bar I've ever visited. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is fun. And, BOM, the ower, is totally top-notch. He has the ability to make you feel like you just walked into your regular neighborhood bar at home, except you're half a world away. He wants everyone to have a good time when they visit and goes out of his way to make sure.If you're ever in Hiroshima, please make this one of your planned stops along with your other agenda items. It's so worth it and you won't regret it.

My home from home.. run by my brother from another mother!I spent 3 nights in Hiroshima. 2 of them were spent in this bar meeting all sorts of cool people from all different walks of life. The final night I spent an evening with Bom the owner having some amazing Japanese food and going to a metal gig. Getting the time to know him the dude is so down to earth and totally genuine. He shows the true spirit of giving without the need for anything in return.The first night I attended the place was packed out from open to close. And not once did Bom and the beautiful Miwa drop their smiles or friendly attitude.One day.. I WILL return to this amazing place.Dude can cook too!

Owner is a friendly guy. He greated my friend and I soon after we came in around midnight. They know how to make an old fashion, which is rare. Chill place to end the night.

Best bar in the world. Bom, the owner, is one of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Made me feel right at home. I'v been back to Hiroshima three times in three years just to visit Koba. No two nights are the same and there is always someone interesting to meet sitting at the bar. If you're in Hiroshima, this place is a must. You won't regret it! Look out for the Koba-ko t-shirt hanging up above the bar. That's the bar I'm opening in tribute to this place. Awesome little bar hidden up a staircase past some kind of water feature. Run by two very good english speakers, and mostly catering to tourists (as far as I can tell). Bar is heavy metal themed and you'll find lots of music memorabilia about. Drinks are good value and good quality. We didn't try the food but it looked nice.

Great bar, would highly recommend. They weren't serving food when we went but Bom (the owner) was super friendly and we had a great time. Met other tourists, drank a variety of boozy drinks - a good Friday night.

Ozzyosbom is the best bartender/cook/dude period! Please try it if you want to have a good time

Bom-san is the man. It’s a small place and serves food intermittently, but more than makes up for it by the welcoming vibe.

Interesting hard rock/metal bar. Host speaks very good english and lots of guests are foreigners. Food was quite good and different from typical izakaya food, including pizza and beef jerky. The place was busy and the wait was quite long.

I went in on a night with only 2 other customers. The atmosphere was friendly. I mean really friendly. The owner drank with us. And showed up the music he could play. Its all about music and fun time here. Out of the month I spend in Japan this time, this is one night I wont forget.
